Overview
Kenyon does not hold public performance rights for any feature (non-documentary) films that are part of the library's DVD collection. PPR is available for some films available through streaming services to which the library provides access. If you want to screen a feature film publicly and public performance rights are not already available, your student group or department will be responsible for contacting a licensing service company to obtain a rental copy and to pay for rights.
Swank Motion Pictures is a good place to start if you are interested in screening a relatively recent release. Criterion and Kino will be able to license some foreign and classic films. Film Movement distributes primarily recent foreign films.
Consult IMDb if you are unsure of a film's distributor, or if you are unable to find a film through one of the licensing service companies listed in the next column. After you find the distributor information through IMDb, you may be able to contact the distributor directly.
