Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 7pm at the Community Foundation Theater the Transnational Collective, the Project for Open Voices and Crozier present a screening of Chimamanda Adichie: The Danger of the Single Story to be followed by a discussion. There will be dessert!
Acclaimed Latino photographer, José Galvez will visit Kenyon, September 25, 2012. He will speak at 7:00 pm in the Gund Community Theater and will exhibit his photography in the lobby of the Gund Gallery. This presentation will be part of the Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration.
Prof. Nohemy Solórzano-Thompson, chair of Spanish and Latina/o Studies Department at Whitman College will speak on “Documenting Transnational Feminisms of Color: Motherhood, Activism, and Identity in Lourdes Portillo’s Señorita Extraviada (2001)” February 8, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gund Gallery Auditorium.
