The Economist Online

This guide explains how to create an account to use the library's subscription to the Economist.

Create an account to access Economist.com

Kenyon College Library provides online access to The Economist for all current students, staff, and faculty members through a group subscription.

To gain access, you will need to create an individual account at Economist.com and follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to myaccount.economist.com/s/login/SelfRegister and complete registration using your Kenyon email address. (For security reasons, choose a unique password.)
  2. You will receive an email titled "You've been given an Economist subscription" from noreply@e.economist.com, asking you to verify your email address by clicking on the "verify email" button. (If this email does not arrive, please check your spam or junk folders.)
  3. Selecting "verify email" will direct you back to The Economist as a logged-in user with full access.

*If you have any access issues or queries, you can contact the Economist Support Team at enterprise@economist.com.

*Additional access options may be found through the Library catalog record for The Economist.
