European Union

  • Eurobarometer
    Published by the Public Opinion Analysis Sector of the European Commission Directorate-General Communication, this is a series of surveys of public opinion on issues relating to EU member states, regularly published on behalf of the European Commission since 1973.
  • Eurostat
    Detailed statistics on economic, demographic, public finance and trade data for EU and candidate countries.
  • EU Statistics and Opinion Polls
    Links to statistics on the EU and opinion polls. Statistics cover topics ranging from regional growth to external trade. Opinion polls indicate how satisfied people are with different aspects of the EU and what could be improved.
  • Archive of European Union Integration
    Hosted by the University of Pittsburgh. An electronic repository and archive for research materials on the topic of European integration and unification. The AEI collects two types of materials: certain types of independently-produced research materials and official European Community/European Union documents.

Journal Articles

Search these suggested databases for journal articles on compartive politics. Examples of journal titles whose subject area is comparative politics include British Journal of Political Science (online), Comparative Politics (print and online), Comparative Political Studies (print and online), West European Politics (print and online), European Journal of Political Research (online), European Union Politics (online), Journal of Common Market Studies (online), and more. 

To search for a specific journal title and subscription availability, go to CONSORT, choose "Journal Title" from pull-down menu options, input name of Journal, and click search. CONSORT will not search for journal articles
